Lawyer Hector Paricio, partner of Carrau Corporation, has given a master class at the Faculty of Law of the University of Valencia on criminal compliance, in which he has addressed the importance of this matter to establish good practice in business activity. The session was presented by José Luis Bosch, director of the Master's Degree in Law and professor of Financial Law and History of Law at the University of Valencia.
Under the title "Criminal compliance: criminal liability of legal persons", Héctor Paricio explained the crime prevention protocols in the company, the criminal liability of legal persons in the Penal Code and the prevention and detection of crimes in the field business. He is an expert in criminal compliance, the subject of law that tries to guarantee that companies and their directors comply with legal regulations and thus avoid criminal offenses. In addition, he has taken advantage of this session to make a close presentation of the Carrau Corporación office to the students where he directs the area of Criminal Law and Compliance of the office.
